Family values Christoph Florin Ultra contemporary artists
Never grow up completely – playfulness is super important
With the paint barely dry on their most challenging project to date commissioned by Mercedes Benz (a public tennis court, unveiled by Roger Federer), we sat down with the retro-futuristic artist duo behind some of the world’s most striking murals, Christoph Florin (formerly known as Low Bros).
With a prolific output that spans painting, screen print, super-scale murals, light installations and jewellery (coming soon!), brothers Christoph and Florin opened up in the most beautiful way about their deeply embedded family values and the perfectionism behind their painstaking, analogue work, renowned for its dopamine-inducing palette, digitally-influenced dreamscapes and iconoclastic commentary on consumer culture. Step into their Miami sunset-hued world!
To bring the episode to life, this is the tennis court that had them calling their agent in despair and here’s that photo of the boys as youngsters. This is STUDIOCULT, the jewellery brand Christoph Florin are collaborating with. We’ve seen it, we’ve held it. It’s incredible.

Christoph Florin Loves
watch: Dark Horse

"This little Danish gem is probably hard to come by but worth seeing. We got it on DVD back then. It's about this dreamy, naive outsider who somehow refuses to be an adult and yet for whom life always seems to take a happy turn. Which drives his over-correct best friend crazy"
watch: Jodorowsky’s Dune

"This is a documentary about an epic movie project of Jodorowsky, who shot another favorite movie of ours, The Holy Mountain. He gathered an outstanding crew of creatives to make a film based on the book, Dune, way before David Lynch. It’s really inspiring to see Jodorowsky’s passion and vision for this project while still giving the other artist involved the space for their creative input. We just wish that movie happened"
read: This is Vegan Propaganda by Ed Winters

"The book provides a lot of facts around veganism and we love Ed Winters for the way he discusses this topic in a very understanding, humble and calm way. His Videos on Youtube are great too"
visit: Tigre, Hamburg

"This is a place with amazing Peruvian tapas in a really nice and familiar atmosphere in the area of Ottensen. The plates and interior ARE colorful and an original painting of ours' is hanging there. They also have great vegan options"
