special project: burberry landscapes
Harnessing the craft of our global creative community to re-imagine the landscapes that inform Burberry's DNA
Through a series of larger-than-life earth works, we honour the role biodiversity plays in our future.
To realise Burberry's visionary concept, we embarked on ongoing research and development over a nine-month period involving consultations with a wide range of governmental bodies, from local authorities and ministries of agriculture to environmental departments.
Commissioning entire teams of technical specialists in both territories, including biodiversity technicians, agricultural engineers, geologists and pigment artists we prioritised sustainability every step of the way.
A unique and rewarding project that came to life on Spain's UNESCO-listed island of El Hierro and South Africa's Overberg region.
