TALKING PICTURES Georgia Hilmer
Georgia Hilmer is a photographer living in the Catskill in New York. She started modelling as a teenager, taking pictures with a 35mm point-and-shoot to document that time of travel and misadventure. Her fixation on film has been (impractically) unwavering ever since. Being primarily analog has meant going slow, deferring gratification, and staying surprised. After trading modelling for other projects, like college, writing, and gardening, and leaving New York City, she has used her camera as a way to connect with people she might otherwise never meet.
